Try IT in Tennant
Super fun VR Gaming at Tennant Creek Library in the Youth Week school holidays 2025 (for youth aged 10-18yrs).
A big thanks to Barkly Regional Council and the Northern Territory Government for making this program possible.
This program was a huge success! Thank you Amazing Luke, Amazing Leo and also Amazing Amy for helping me to deliver such a super fun and educational program at Tennant Creek Library. Thanks to the Library staff for supporting us with our VR program. Thanks also to the kids at the basketball courts for letting Luke and I join in your basketball games on our unicycles. We love playing unicycle basketball and i think it wouldn't take you long to learn to ride unicycles too. I hope we can return to Tennant Creek soon with some more VR education programs.
Alice Springs - VR Gaming and Circus Workshops
Our Amazing team delivered two weeks of circus workshops and co-space VR gaming at Alice Springs Public Library and all workshops were well attended and exceeded all expectations. We had local indigenous youth participating as well as youth from Darwin and from a huge range of multicultural backgrounds from all around the world (who are currently residing in Alice Springs). Parents didn’t want to miss out on the fun and thoroughly enjoyed joining in as well.
THANKYOU to the library for coordinating our programs and for your future focused thinking re using VR for education with your five new VR headsets. THANKYOU also to Mindflight7 for your ongoing support for the library staff to enable them to continue to deliver VR gaming and education programs. THANKYOU to the parents/carers for bringing youth to our events and for your enthusiastic participation in all of our activities as well.
